Hunter King has been promoted to series regular for Season 2 of CBS' comedy Life in Pieces. Hunter King was born as Hunter Haley King. She is an actress, known for A Girl Like Her (2015), Life in Pieces (2015) and The Young and the Restless (1973). Hunter King (Summer Newman) will soon be seeing a lot more airtime -- unfortunately for soap fans, it won't be on The Young and the Restless. Hunter King was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 in the “Outstanding Young Actress in a Drama Series” category.
In 2013, King accused her Y&R co-star Michael Muhney of allegedly groping her. Radar Online reported that King complained that Muhney fondled her breasts on two occasions, both of which were unsolicited and unwanted advances. According to Radar Online, King told producers she would go to the police and file a report against Muhney if he was not fired from the show. Muhney was fired on December 17, 2013 with Muhney stating that the allegations were false and merely a salacious rumor.
